The Yorkipoo, by survey and numbers is now in the top 20 list of most popular non-allergetic dogs for pet owners. We believe this trend will continue and sooner, rather than later, the Yorkipoo dog will be in the top 10 most popular dogs overall.

The Yorkipoo dog appears to have an average life span of 17 years. At least that’s the preliminary data. The Yorkipoo dog is a relatively new breed so data about average litter size, weight and life span is newer compared to other, more established breeds of dogs.
One of the most common questions about this breed of dog is how to spell it! If you search the internet you will find 2 main variations of spelling. They are “yorkipoo” and “yorkiepoo.” The question is really do you include the “e” or not. This is an open question. It appears there is no one correct way to spell it. We have chosen to not include the “e” as this seems to be the most common spelling. The Yorkipoo is a new breed so hopefully over time this will be resolved.
As a 2nd part of our announcement of the launching of our new site that dedicated to the Yorkipoo dog bree, we are welcoming user comments and feedback to our posts. We would like the comments to our subjects about the dog, the breeding, feeding and caring for the Yorkipoo to create a great user experience. For me, the best thing about Yorkipoo dogs is that they are short haired so they don’t shed. And most importantly, they don’t create many allergy problems. That makes them great house pets, which for a small dog is a good thing.
