Poodles are bred in three separate sizes: toy poodles, miniature poodles and standard poodles. Standard poodles can be up to two and a half or three feet tall. Poodles are often used a professional show dogs. When used as a
show dog, they are often given strange hair cuts, such as shaving part of the fur on their legs. Their fur is occasionally dyed in a variety of other colors. These colors and fur styles are designed to showcase the dog in the best possible light.

Poodles in general come in a variety of colors. They can be black, white, apricot red brown or a smoky grey. Poodles are well known for not shedding like the rest of the dog breeds. Poodles are bred with several other breeds, such as Labradors called Labridoodles, Cocker spaniel mixes are called Cockipoos, but the most famous mix is the one with a Yorkshire Terrier.
